The Pogue Traders
We’re absolutely buzzing to announce that once again, The Pogue Traders, one of our favourite bands to ever play McChuills, are coming back again in November. We’ve actually lost count of how many times we’ve booked them over the years, but if you’ve ever been to one of their shows, you’ll know why.
Spacestation
Like Velvet Underground, Sonic Youth and My Bloody Valentine before them, Spacestation aspire to redefine what noise can be within the context of pop music.
DF Presents: Villanelle
Villanelle will bring their dynamic sound to venues across the UK in December, including a night at McChuills on Thursday 4th!
PCL Presents: Laura Stevenson
In the four years since her self-titled album was released, Laura’s entire life has been upended by pandemic-era motherhood, a painful split, and navigating new loves. Her new album is about letting go, taking charge, and learning to rebuild from the deepest layers of your being.

It's been far too long since he was last here, so we're buzzing to announce that the legendary Justin Robertson is coming back to McChuills.
Colatura
Colatura are an immense post-punk outfit originally from Brooklyn that we really love, who are over here on their first European tour so we’re giving them a gig here on Sunday night and we’re making it free entry.
Support comes from local post-punkers Vertige and DoYouLikeButter, who are both equally-essential, even at this early stage of their careers, so you should be coming down early for them as well.

FATALOWEEN | Fatale, The Paris Match, Bogle
Fatale are a five-piece band from Lanarkshire who came crashing onto the scene in 2025, bringing power-pop sensibilities and big crowds to their debut at McChuills' Vicar Street Social.
Since then, they've been called to play King Tuts' Summer Nights as well as Tenement Trail, cementing themselves as firmly ones to watch.
DF Presents: Man of Moon
Man of Moon are a two piece psychedelic/alternative rock band formed in Edinburgh and now based in Glasgow. They have over the years sold out shows up and down the UK and toured Europe twice, once with Django Django in 2018 and the other with fellow Scottish band The Twilight Sad in 2019.
Róis
RÓIS is a composer, vocalist, multi-instrumentalist, and electronic artist from Fermanagh, whose songs breathe new life into a forgotten Ireland. Blending elements of folk, sean-nós, electronics, and jazz harmony, RÓIS’ genre-bending sound transports listeners to a different realm.
Heathen Apostles
Forming the band together in 2013, Mather Louth (Radio Noir) and rock n roll veteran Chopper Franklin (The Cramps, Mau Maus, Nick Curran & the Lowlifes) quickly uncovered a mutual appreciation for murder balladry, Americana, and memento mori.
Mob x GWR | David Holmes & Deeply Armed
A night of live electronics, guitars, dub, and deep dancefloor vibrations.
UnderTheWire Presents: X-Ray Cat Trio
It’s Leeds’ favourite surf punks, X Ray Cat Trio, play soul-shattering songs about love, hate, murder and monsters. Wearing their influences on their sleeves, it’s gloriously clear they draw faithfully from the authentic stylings of Nasty 50’s Rockabilly, gritty 60’s Garage and trashy 70’s Punk Rock.
VSS Vol. 6 | Seán McKenna & Sam Shackleton
Vicar Street Social Vol 6. Samhain 🎃
Seán McKenna // Sam Shackleton
Former member of The Mary Wallopers, Sean McKenna, brings his captivating vocals and heartfelt performance to McChuills Bar's Acid Arches in Glasgow on Saturday, October 18th. McKenna seamlessly blends traditional irish folk influences with a modern sensibility.
Joining him is Edinburgh-based folk singer Sam Shackleton, also known as Sorely the Bard. A master storyteller, the Bard revives ancient melodies with powerful lyrics and a 5-string banjo.
Samhain marks the beginning of the darker half of the year as the winter approaches. Celebrated on Halloween night, when the veil between this world and the next is at its thinnest.
