Pussypower - Sat 2nd


Pussypower have had regular club nights and many one off all night events where they promoted various live and Dj guests form the underground dance music scene ie; Carl Craig, Cajmere (Green Velvet) & Dajaé, Eddie Richards, Aphex Twin, Steve Bicknell, Sugar Experiment Station, Lee Purkis (In Sync), Claude Young and Psychic Warriors Of Gia to name a few. With this much expertise you are sure to have your sox danced well and truly off at this one-off special in McChuills on Sat 2nd

Nick Peacock - Fri 15th


Nick Peacock is Glasgow DJ royalty. Having been around the Glasgow club scene since before the Glasgow club scene even existed, he was a Sub Club resident before the Sub Club was even the Sub Club! Playing alongside young guns like Harri and Orde Meikle who have gone on to dominate the world, Nick has kept his head down, happy to keep playing the music he loves to the crowds he knows. Catch him in our bar!

Smoove & Turrell  - Sat 16th


One of the UK’s finest Funk & Soul bands with a brilliant live show, they are constantly played by Craig Charles on his Radio 6 funk & soul show. Smoove & Turrell are a funk & soul group hailing from Gateshead in the North East of England. The Geordie soul crew play a style of music they describe as 'Northern Funk' - a contemporary fusion of funk, soul, northern soul, hip-hop and electronica.

Emotion Electric - Fri 22nd


OOFT! (Ali Herron) has held residencies at The Sub Club and the Berkeley Suite, and frequently plays in some of the UK and Europe's finest clubs. He is renowned for his intelligently programmed DJ sets in which he seamlessly blends elements of down-tempo/balearic sounds, original disco edits and deep melodic house, so it's going be a real treat to hear him doing his thing in McChuills Acid Arch along with 'Waterpistol' resident Nicky Wright.

The Velvet Underground & Nico

Released in March 1967 through Verve Records, It was recorded in 1966 while the band were featured on Andy Warhol's Exploding Plastic Inevitable tour. The album features experimental performance sensibilities and controversial lyrical topics, including drug abuse, prostitution, sadomasichism and sexual deviancy... Definitely not vanilla!
