There’s tributes, there’s The Beatles tributes and there’s The Beats.

Formed in 2019, this Liverpool-based three-piece bring their own distinctive edge to the Fab Four’s timeless catalogue. Blending tight musicianship with a fresh, energetic approach, the band reimagines classic Beatles songs while staying true to their spirit.

Following a personnel change in 2025, the current lineup—Michael (guitar and vocals), Matt (bass and vocals), and Felix (drums and vocals)—has quickly become a regular fixture at the iconic Cavern Club. Hailing from diverse backgrounds—one Scouser, one Irishman, and one German—the trio is united by a shared passion for The Beatles and the golden era of rock ’n’ roll.

While their focus remains firmly on Beatles material, spanning everything from early hits to the masterpieces of Abbey Road, The Beats are also expanding their repertoire to include rock ’n’ roll, 60s, and rockabilly classics from artists such as Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash, Chuck Berry, and Eddie Cochran.

We’ve come across a lot of Beatles tributes, but The Beats are something really special, so we had to get them up here and into the Acid Arch as soon as possible. Expect major Cavern vibes.
