Ewan has been making music for a living since 1998, working as a recording artist (Maas, World Of Apples, Partial Arts), a world-touring DJ (Panoramabar, Robert Johnson, Space Ibiza with DJ compilations for Soma, fabric and Kompakt), a prolific remixer with more than 150 remixes under his belt for the likes of Happy Mondays, Depeche Mode, Chemical Brothers, Feist, Pet Shop Boys, Goldfrapp, Hot Chip, Foals, Jessie Ware and Metronomy, and as a published academic (‘Discographies’, Routledge: 1999, with Jeremy Gilbert) and a magazine columnist (Groove Magazine, Germany 2007-2012).

As a producer he has made records with The Rapture, M83, Jagwar Ma, Jens Lekman and four albums for Tracey Thorn including 2018’s hugely acclaimed ‘Record. Over the past six years Ewan has become a go-to mix engineer for indie and alternative artists across the world, mixing for the likes of Confidence Man, Alexis Taylor, Warpaint, Neil Frances, Radio Free Alice, Rose Gray, Flight Facilities, Stella Donnelly, Poolside, Kungs and many more.
