MoB | BOYHOOD PART(Y) 2

Celebrating the release of David Keenan's new book.

The return leg of Manifesto Of Bliss with Dölphin and Tia Cousins celebrating the release of David Keenan's excellent new novel BOYHOOD

I was over in Carcassone last year and witnessed one of the best Dj performances for a long time. Tia's closing set in Bar A Vin was a joy to behold fusing dark modern day electro with classic tracks from New Fads / Human League and closing with Spacemen 3
Myself Lee Brackstone Haldane and all our posse stood in awe.
It was fitting that Tia brought the festival to a close, and I know when I say this Andrew Wearherall would have been proud.
On my return we instantly plotted bringing Tia to The Acid Arch.
This is something we have sat on since last year
Now is the time to unleash

I think the artistry in David’s writing lends itself to years of materialistic adventures thru music and literary study
The philosophy throughout is second to none
Boyhood is for me a proven point of working class background coming to the forefront of a society with eyes and ears

Where Irvine Welsh created his stamp I feel and I really mean this watching my friend not being TRAINSPOTTING  but weaving culture and philosophy with facts and feelings love and angels
Boyhood is Glasgow
Boyhood is an education
Boyhood is literary genuis
Boyhood is the APOKÀLYPSIS of David Keenan as the best writer I have came across
It’s on my fkn door step
I’m so proud
