Soul Galore: All Dayer

SOUL GALORE, McChuills annual New Year soul all-dayer, has now firmly established itself in the soul scene calendar with heads travelling from far & wide to attend. This year we've moved from 1st to the 2nd January to make it more accessible to those using public transport.

8 hours of the finest Soul, Northern, Funk & Rare Groove in collaboration with ‘High Street Funk & Soul Club from our regular Soul Superstars plus special guest spinners:

Paul Molloy

Steven Watt

Stevie Elements

Craig Reece

Danni McWilliams

Last year was a brilliant event and a fantastic start to the year with a mix of soul-heads dancing alongside folk just looking for a busy bar to hang out (and dance) in.

5PM-1AM

Paul Molloy & Steven Watt

Residents of our hugely popular monthly High Street Funk & Soul Club, Paul and Stevie are purveyors of the finest contemporary funk and soul in town but for this event they’ll be diggin’ in the crates for those leapers, sleepers and damn fine creepers! Old and new!

Stevie Elements

Having spent years pestering Andrew Divine with the line: “and who's that by?” Stevie Elements soon found his own path into the soul scene by doing warm-up sets with Craig Moog in the Buff Club for Nick Peacock's long running club residency. Expect a choice box of 7” dance-floor soul, funk & rare-groove classics.

Craig Reece

Vinyl addict, DJ and record dealer, Craig (Southside Records) has played soul, jazz, r&b and much more for discerning dance floors across Europe, the US and Japan from rarities to classics.

Danni McWilliams

More a dancer than a DJ, Danni has been a staple on the best Northern dance-floors so it's great to hear her take on the scene playing her personal favourites, and maybe a few curve balls too!
