MEET ME AT NEPTUNE
We’re always looking for new and creative ways to use the back arch, so are very proud to present what we hope will be the first of many McChuills’ Theatre Productions: Meet Me At Neptune.
Written and directed by the immensely-talented Natalie Semple, Meet Me At Neptune tells of life in a dystopian Britain under The One, a fascist government that has risen to unchecked power in recent years.
Fascism takes centre stage throughout the play and highlights its ability to destroy and weaken our moral compass as a collective, but at the same time highlighting the potential for all of us to stand up and resist when we come together.
Told through the eyes of two women, this is a story of how individuals and collectives can not only survive and resist such authoritarian regimes, but force change and fight back even against regimes that demand total control.
Meet Me At Neptune is a remarkable production and we could not be prouder to be hosting its debut performance right here in McChuills.
