MERCHANT CITY FESTIVAL

We’re looking back just over a month ago, to the Merchant City Festival!

As ever, Glasgow’s infamous Merchant City was transformed into a vibrant stage of outdoor theatre, circus, live music, and family celebration.

As part of this year's Merchant City Festival, we hosted the first ever McChuills Bank Holiday Psyche Fest.

Running all day long, the event had a stellar line-up of both bands and DJs, right from the 1pm kick-off all the way through to the end of the night.

Headlining were The Paris Match. A London-based band who blend classic guitar-pop influences with a swinging backbeat, bouncing basslines and piercing saxophone, and have been attracting an ever-growing following in London and Paris' underground music scenes since their formation in 2024.

Joining them were Glasgow's own Supersun, Sisters, The Violets & Tangled Up In Dylan.

If all that wasn't enough, we also had DJ support from up and coming party monsters Cabbage and two of McChuills’ most psyched-up residents, the immense Neil MacInnes and Robert Kelly.

It was a great Bank Holiday and certainly one to remember, the first in what we hope will become many as part of The Merchant City Festival.
