Amelia Coburn
Amelia Coburn is darkness and light. From tales of vengeful widows and moonlit stream-of-consciousness to songs filled with whimsical romance, she has a knack for making the unusual sound timeless. Her work is populated with the characters she meets in the dark shadows of literature, film noir and travels in unfamiliar lands. Amelia threads Tin Pan Alley melodies through European folk music and torchlit jazz with a blur of psychedelia and baroque pop.Her debut studio album produced by Bill Ryder-Jones is set to be released in Spring 2024.

McKinley James
The first thing you notice about McKinley James is his serious mix of Motown soul and blues-based guitar playing. It doesn’t sound like the type of “blues” you get from traditional purveyors of the genre, but instead from a guitarist who understands chord theory so well you could swear you’re hearing a horn section sometimes. While guitar stores reverberate with licks from ham-fisted modern bluesmen when they don’t know shuffle from shinola, McKinley would walk into that guitar store and summon the spirits of his own idols, nearly forgotten pioneers like Otis Rush and Little Milton.

MASCA
Masca sound like the awkward third-wheel at a Marina and the Diamonds and No Doubt date. The vocals are classy, the guitar is janky, the bass is saucy and the drums are everything you need them to be. Masca write songs like little pickled onions that persuade you to peel back their layers, their latest single Sweet Tooth explores the idea of whether humans will fall out of love with each other as we get used to the more and more perfect alternatives to real human relationships that AI presents us. This is music for weird and wonderful people who like to think and party.
